Well, it might seem funny! You might be thinking that I am such an egoist—‘serendipity’ is the name of our college fest and that’s not a mistake, the headline does say, I ROCKED as a subtitle. No wonders, our two day college fest was cool and nicely put up. I wasn’t present at the first day of the function…
So, in the evening coz I was in a mood to attend the second day (more because, I had to file a report to someone), I asked a junior about anything significant. She told me that the blazers (our college blazers) were damn important this time and we were being fined almost 500 bucks for not wearing them. Sadly and wisely, I didn’t have one. So, I was in a complete mess, called up a couple of acquaintances, trying to arrange a blazer. Well, but no…nothing happened! At one’o clock in the night I SMSed a classmate of mine and asked God to help me out. And lo! See the magic, that friend of mine had one and wasn’t attending the fest herself. Cool! I got ready and was there attending my college fest.
Now, coming to the ‘I ROCKED’ thing…am not an ‘I’ person at all. What made me say this is the fact that none of my friends were there. So, I was all alone. One might wonder that its fine to sit on a seat and attend to things happening on the stage-you are right that’s not at all the big deal, but we had this DJ in the evening and I grooved all alone for some two and a half hours. Now, seriously, I appreciate myself for that. Everyone was in groups and I was all alone but still grooving to all the sensational beats. Yeah! When I entered the ground I thought I should go back home, how can I dance all alone, people will make fun of me. HUH! But I didn’t leave the war zone and I genuinely rocked. Something more appreciable was that girls were coming up to me to dance with me (ours is a girl college) and yeah, I did get a few compliments that how fabulously I dance. Wow! Isn’t that cool!
