LIfE maDe EeAaSYyYy-dedicated to Guru!

Being a Gemini, I am obviously a very moody personality. Going through a nostalgic phase, I just thought of revisiting the first chats in my account! After those Gmail activation mails, the very first conversation (long one, eh…) goes between my guru and me, and even when I don’t have that much of free time, I automatically tend to open it up. Loading…it says…and here are all those one liners! What depressing days were those and how my guru mended the ‘wrecked’ me! Don’t know why but I feel like sharing those few sentences that inspired that very first hope in me once again! I still look back to find these, I still depend on them and whenever I see closing curtains cutting away all that light, I once again find the rays of hope in them.

• Neha, it part of life and does the stride (w.r.t a lost opportunity)
• Some you win some you loose.
• In fact one mostly does not get what one expects ( w.r.t my nagging about life)
• Life is not a fair game, But we still have to play by its rules (learnt it by heart)
• What would life be if there were not difficulties to overcome? Heaven would be a boring place where each one is confined to his or her peace! (the theory that took the pain away)
• There is a Tagore’s line which goes ----- If they answer not your call. Walk alone, walk alone, walk alone. (I am!)
• Swimming with current is easy, against it is tough ( a reminder of my identity)
• Do take up challenges in life but first debate it whether it has a right cause or not. (the best way to make decisions) That is herd mentality and democracy too is so. To stand against the crowd, one needs to rely on knowledge, which is the hardest to acquire. ( about knowledge)
• Too much intellectualism too is bad, unless it is backed by action (so, think but don’t think that much that you end up doing nothing).
• It is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all (my nagging about love and loss). Love does demand sacrifice. (Sounds romantic…eh!)
• Life is not obliged to be fair. It can be unfair to some. (some means…ME)
• That is a question which often haunts but it does not get an answer. It always reaches a dead end. ( an answer to ‘WHY ME’)
• Keep smiling, there will be enough tears in life but hide them behind smiles and the world will never get to know about them why bother about the world. Life is harsh --- it does not bother about anybody. For life, it hardly matters whether I exist or not --- there are plenty around. But I do care for the world whether it bothers about me or not. (Clarity of thoughts and mental state, I am still trying to reach up to.)
• It’s a vicious cycle ----- Dostoevsky in Crime and Punishment at one point writes ---- The more I drink the more I feel, the more I feel the more I drink. (About Drugs).
